Vigneshwaran Babu | Program Lead

Vigneshwaran, a Software Engineer turned Social Development Professional has worked and Partnered with NGO’s across Tamil Nadu and been part of various Social Research Initiatives. He has three years of experience in Education sector, in which he worked as a Youth Development Worker with SOS Children’s Villages of India in Punjab and also as a Project Officer with Tamil Nadu Foundation in Chennai, extensively working for the holistic development of rural government schools in Tamil Nadu to enhance the learning experience of 2500+ children. He was also part of the team that implemented the Startup Village Entrepreneurship Project in Kanchipuram District and managed a CSR Project with TI Cycles for developing urban livelihoods for women in Chennai.

He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering and worked as a Software Engineer for 2 Years prior to pursuing MSW in Community Development from Madras School of Social Work. His Passion is to put efforts for the underserved communities to create equal opportunities.
