Abhijit Choksi | Program Manager

Abhijit Choksi is the Program Manager for the Mission Ankur Program in Madhya Pradesh. In this role, he supports the Education Minister’s office by managing programs, defining strategies, and evaluating their effectiveness to create a lasting impact in Madhya Pradesh’s education ecosystem.

Professionally, Abhijit’s journey began with Teach For India in 2016, where he taught Grade 9 and 10 students in an under-resourced government school in Mumbai. This role deepened his understanding of community challenges and commitment to sustainable reform. Although he pursued civil services thrice, he pivoted back to the development sector, working with the district administration in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, under NITI Aayog’s Aspirational District Programme. Subsequently, as a Program Manager at Muskaan Dreams, he led a team to implement the Digital Shaala initiative, improving education quality in government schools.

Abhijit Choksi is also a passionate sports enthusiast who began his journey in Surat, excelling in table tennis and basketball at competitive levels, representing Gujarat in the U14 and U17 categories. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing tennis, spending time with friends, exploring new restaurants, and reading literature on policy and economics.
