ITI REFORM, PUNJAB

The Education Alliance (TEA) has added the ITI Reform Project to its list of programs in Punjab. The aim is to build a future-ready workforce through industry collaboration, digital transformation, and governance strengthening. As the strategic Project Management Unit (PMU) partner, TEA will drive reforms in 10 select ITIs in phase 1, focusing on industry-aligned curriculum, infrastructure upgrades, and faculty development. Key initiatives include fostering industry partnerships for internships and placements, enhancing IT/MIS systems, and providing career counseling and skill-building workshops.

ILLAM THEDI KALVI

Illam Thedi Kalvi (ITK) is a flagship initiative by the Tamil Nadu Department of School Education designed to address learning gaps among students in Classes 1–8 caused by the pandemic and to mainstream Out-of-School Children (OoSC). The program adopts a hamlet-based outreach model to provide remedial education in non-school.

Schools of Eminence (SoE)

The Punjab Government’s School of Eminence (SoE) initiative seeks to revolutionize education in government schools by promoting holistic student development and preparing them for the 21st century. SoEs provide enriching learning experiences through innovative teaching practices, world-class infrastructure, and visionary leadership. These schools aim to create safe, joyful environments that nurture curiosity and support students’ physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.

Schools Quality Enhancement Program (Thangar, Uttarakhand)

Thangar is a medium-sized village in Yamkeshwar Tehsil of Pauri Garhwal district, Uttarakhand, with a population of over 400. Despite being part of a state with 17,752 government schools and over 10 lakh students, Thangar’s schools are under-resourced and understaffed, reflecting the urgent need to improve learning outcomes and curb migration.

Schools of Applied Learning (SoAL)

The Schools of Applied Learning (SoAL) is a pioneering initiative of the Punjab Government aimed at integrating skill-based education into mainstream schooling for 11th and 12th grade, preparing students for real-world challenges and career opportunities. The program seeks to bridge the gap between traditional academic learning and vocational employability by equipping students with critical skills needed in the evolving job market.

School Quality Enhancement Program (SQEP):

Revived under-utilized government schools as part of a School Quality Enhancement Programme (SQEP). These schools serve as demonstration models for providing excellent education in government schools and identified levers of change for system-wide dissemination. TEA plays the role of a project management partner, ensuring effective engagement between SDMC and NGOs to deliver on intended outcomes.

PMU For Foundational Literacy And Numeracy (FLN)

In Madhya Pradesh, through our Project Management Unit (PMU) at Rajya Shiksha Kendra (RSK), we are bringing together strategic and knowledge partners to work closely with the MP Education department on strengthening Foundational Literacy and Numeracy across the state.
