Schools of Applied Learning (SoAL)

The Schools of Applied Learning (SoAL) is a pioneering initiative of the Punjab Government aimed at integrating skill-based education into mainstream schooling for 11th and 12th grade, preparing students for real-world challenges and career opportunities. The program seeks to bridge the gap between traditional academic learning and vocational employability by equipping students with critical skills needed in the evolving job market.

Four vocational trade paths have been identified in the context of Punjab’s economic ecosystem and demand, namely:

The four foundational subjects aim to impart
