Samir George | Program Manager

Samir is currently a Program Manager for The Education Alliance’s team in Punjab, working on Schools of Applied Learning (SoAL). He also has experience working at the Delhi Government’s Schools of Specialised Excellence (SoSEs).

Prior to TEA, he worked with the Asian Century Foundation to facilitate knowledge-sharing partnerships between India and experts in East and Southeast Asia in key development domains such as Sanitation, State Capacity, Science and Technology, and Solar Energy.

He graduated with a postgraduate diploma in Public Policy, Design & Management from the Indian School of Public Policy, and did his BA in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. During his time as a student, he worked with Grassroots Research and Advocacy Movement (GRAAM) and eGovernments Foundation in areas of skill development, public service delivery, and state capacity.

Outside of work, Samir is passionate about music.
